TraceBuddy helps kids and parents use a phone or iPad for camera-over-paper tracing and on-screen coloring practice.

Getting started

• Pick a built-in drawing, type a custom word, or choose a local image.
• Use Practice to trace or color directly on the device.
• Use Camera to place the tracing guide over real paper.
• Images, camera video, custom words, and drawings stay on the device.

Camera tips

• Use good lighting and a stable phone or tablet stand.
• Increase or decrease guide opacity so the paper remains visible.
• Lock the overlay once it is aligned.
